Tomato Masters

Tomato Masters is a family-owned business that has been growing tomatoes with passion and expertise since 1966. Founded by Julien Vlaemynck, the company has since become a well-known name in the industry. In 1983, the family switched to hydroponics, which significantly improved both the yield and the sustainability of their cultivation. Today, the company operates 21 hectares of greenhouses in Deinze and is part of the Tomeco Group, led by Mathias Demuyt and Tom Vlaemynck.

The premium vine tomato Elite is one of Tomato Masters’ pride and joys: firm, flavorful, and perfect for a variety of culinary uses. Tomato Masters has a rich history dating back to the first introduction of tomatoes to Europe—a fruit once named after Italy’s “golden apples.”

Tip from the experts: Try sautéing Coeur de Boeuf tomatoes with basil and burrata; a simple dish that brings out their rich flavor.

At Tomato Masters, transparency is key. They take pride in their work and are happy to share their knowledge and experience. The company places a high value on openness and wants to fully involve their customers in the tomato-growing process.
