Senior Distribution Supervisor

For our sorting and packing department, we are looking for a Senior Supervisor who enjoys working closely with people, maintains a clear overview, and thrives on a well-organized workflow. You will coordinate employees, orders, and processes, serving as the link between production, sales, quality, and operations.
Your role within the team
- You will oversee and monitor the day-to-day operations of the sorting and packing department.
- You will receive orders and translate them into a clear work schedule.
- You will organize staff scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- You motivate, guide, and support employees on the job.
- You'll consult with the Operations Manager on a daily basis.
- You'll work with the sales and quality teams to determine how products are sorted and packaged.
- You maintain contact with customers and follow up on complaints appropriately.
- You are responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, and workplace safety.
- You create labels in accordance with legal and customer-specific requirements.
- You're constantly looking for ways to organize processes more intelligently and efficiently.
- You will oversee the maintenance and repairs of machinery, buildings, and grounds.
- You will assist with the purchase and sale of materials and machinery.
- You will take on the role of Level 3 Prevention Advisor.
What is your profile?
You already have experience in a leadership role in manufacturing, food, or packaging, and you know how to get people and processes moving. Planning and organizing come naturally to you, and you easily maintain an overview of staffing and day-to-day operations.
You have a practical mindset, make decisions when necessary, and focus primarily on finding solutions. You communicate effectively, enjoy collaborating with different departments, and at the same time prioritize people, quality, safety, and efficiency.
Even during busy times, you stay calm and know how to set the right priorities. Do you also have experience as a Level 3 prevention advisor? If so, that’s definitely a great asset.
