Overarching Labor Coordinator

To further professionalize our workforce management, we are seeking an Overarching Labor Coordinator who will help guide people, processes, and performance.
Your role within the team
We are seeking an overarching Labor Manager for five modern greenhouse horticulture companies in the northern part of the province of Antwerp—someone who combines strategic insight with a strong presence on the shop floor.
In this key role, you will be responsible for streamlining, analyzing, and optimizing workforce organization across multiple sites. You move easily between numbers and people, between long-term planning and day-to-day operational realities. Experience in greenhouse horticulture is a definite plus, but not an absolute requirement for candidates with a strong affinity for production environments and workforce organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Overarching coordination and optimization of labor across five greenhouse horticulture companies
- Managing, Coaching, and Developing Leaders
- Analyze workforce data (scheduling, productivity, quality, and costs) and translate it into concrete improvement actions
- Bringing structure and consistency to work processes and planning methods
- Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among the various companies
- Act as a strategic sparring partner for owners and management
- Initiating and facilitating improvement and change processes
- Monitoring employee performance, engagement, and motivation
What is your profile?
- Experience with work organization, production planning, or operational management
- Experience in greenhouse horticulture, cultivation, or a production environment is a definite plus but not a requirement
- Proven experience in managing and coaching managers
- Strong analytical skills and a knack for working with numbers and schedules
- Proactive, decisive, and results-oriented
- Strong communication skills at both the workplace and management levels
- Hands-on approach, with a strategic and big-picture perspective
- Proficiency in Dutch and English
- Experience with international and/or seasonal work is a major asset
