STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER

To further develop this story, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow into our key commercial liaison between customers, the market, Tomeco, and our growing operations.
What do we expect from you?
In this role, you will serve as the face of Tomeco for our customers. You will maintain existing relationships, develop new opportunities, and closely monitor the market. You will work closely with colleagues at Coöperatie Hoogstraten to ensure that volumes, quality, and commercial planning are perfectly aligned.
You effortlessly switch between client meetings, market analyses, internal coordination, and commercial strategic decisions.
You bring structure, identify opportunities, and know how to get clients excited about a partnership that benefits everyone.
Your responsibilities
- Together with Coöperatie Hoogstraten, you will build lasting relationships with customers and closely monitor their needs and expectations.
- You will ensure that volumes, margins, availability, and quotes are properly tracked.
- You will help prepare presentations based on data from applications such as PowerBI.
- You will represent Tomeco at international trade shows.
- You will identify new business opportunities on behalf of Coöperatie Hoogstraten and nurture leads until a concrete and successful commercial outcome is achieved.
- You will work closely with Coöperatie Hoogstraten on market insights, planning, and commercial strategy.
- You monitor trends, price movements, and market developments and translate them into clear analyses.
- You will contribute ideas and work on commercial projects and initiatives within Tomeco.
What is your profile?
We are looking for someone who is professional, people-oriented, and proactive—someone who feels at home in a role where trust, clear communication, teamwork, and forward thinking are key.
- You have three to five years of relevant commercial experience, ideally in the food, horticulture, retail, or FMCG industries.
- You excel at customer management and build natural, trusting relationships.
- You can translate market insights into concrete actions and understand how business decisions impact day-to-day operations.
- You are analytical and organized, but remain flexible when the market demands it.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and German is a plus.
- You can work independently, motivate others, and are results-oriented.
- You have a healthy drive to grow, learn, and help build a compelling story.
