To further professionalize our workforce management, we are seeking an Overarching Labor Coordinator to help guide people, processes, and performance.

What do we expect from you?

We are seeking an overarching Operations Manager for five modern greenhouse horticulture companies in the northern part of the province of Antwerp—someone who combines strategic insight with a strong presence on the shop floor.

In this key role, you will be responsible for streamlining, analyzing, and optimizing workforce management across multiple sites. You’ll move seamlessly between data and people, and between long-term planning and day-to-day operational realities. Experience in greenhouse horticulture is a definite plus, but not an absolute requirement for candidates with a strong affinity for production environments and workforce management.

Your responsibilities

  • Overall coordination and optimization of labor across five greenhouse horticulture companies
  • Managing, coaching, and developing managers
  • Analyzing workforce data (scheduling, productivity, quality, and costs) and translating it into concrete improvement actions
  • Bringing structure and consistency to work processes and planning methods
  • Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among the various companies
  • Act as a strategic advisor to owners and management
  • Initiating and overseeing improvement and change initiatives
  • Monitoring employee performance, engagement, and motivation

What is your profile?

  • Experience in work organization, production planning, or operational management
  • Experience in greenhouse horticulture, cultivation, or a production environment is a definite plus but not a requirement
  • Proven experience in managing and coaching managers
  • Strong analytical skills and a knack for working with numbers and schedules
  • Decisive, assertive, and results-oriented
  • Strong communication skills at both the operational and management levels
  • Hands-on approach, with a strategic and big-picture perspective
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Experience with international and/or seasonal work is a major asset
