To further professionalize our workforce management, we are seeking an Overarching Labor Coordinator to help guide people, processes, and performance.
What do we expect from you?
We are seeking an overarching Operations Manager for five modern greenhouse horticulture companies in the northern part of the province of Antwerp—someone who combines strategic insight with a strong presence on the shop floor.
In this key role, you will be responsible for streamlining, analyzing, and optimizing workforce management across multiple sites. You’ll move seamlessly between data and people, and between long-term planning and day-to-day operational realities. Experience in greenhouse horticulture is a definite plus, but not an absolute requirement for candidates with a strong affinity for production environments and workforce management.
Your responsibilities
- Overall coordination and optimization of labor across five greenhouse horticulture companies
- Managing, coaching, and developing managers
- Analyzing workforce data (scheduling, productivity, quality, and costs) and translating it into concrete improvement actions
- Bringing structure and consistency to work processes and planning methods
- Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among the various companies
- Act as a strategic advisor to owners and management
- Initiating and overseeing improvement and change initiatives
- Monitoring employee performance, engagement, and motivation
